Poland will face off with Netherlands in a UEFA Nations League match in Chorzow on November 18.

The Eagles succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Italy away in their previous match which was a Nations League clash on 15 November 2020.

The defeat ended Poland’s five-match unbeaten run across all competitions having recorded one draw and four victories.

Poland’s last win came against Ukraine – the international friendly match ended in a 2-0 win for the Eagles on 11 November 2020.

Meanwhile, Netherlands secured a 3-1 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina at home in their previous game which was a Nations League clash on 15 November 2020.

The win extended the Flying Dutchmen’s unbeaten run to four matches across all competitions having registered three successive draws and one victory.

The Netherlands’ last defeat came against Mexico, who emerged 1-0 winners in an international friendly match on 7 October 2020.

Frank De Boer, the Netherlands head coach, is pleased to have masterminded his maiden win as the national team manager against Bosnia.

“Of course you are waiting for that first victory. But we had two interests today. Staying in the race for the final round of the Nations League,” De Boer said.

“And we are now in the World Cup qualifying in pot one. That is nice. Pot two also contains good countries, but now we are certainly avoiding the very strong countries.”

The last match between Poland and Netherlands was on 4 September 2020.

The Flying Dutchmen ran out 1-0 winners over the Eagles in a Nations League match which was played at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
