Sarah Adjoa Safo, Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, has appeared in Parliament to take part in proceedings after the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC claimed that she was impersonated during yesterday’s proceedings.

She marched into Parliament without a mask on to display her face and leave no mistake in anyone’s mind that she is really the one.

The Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister has been on extended leave receiving medical care abroad but has been allegedly forced to cut her medical tourism short in order to shore up numbers of the majority as they seek to approve the 2022 Budget to the letter.

Activists of the NDC on social media have suspected that she was not in Parliament but a lookalike took her seat to enable the majority carry on with its agenda to approve the budget.

Her presence in Parliament today will likely put an end to the speculations on her impersonation. But the issue may drag on.
