Real Madrid will face Valencia CF in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano on February 14.
The Whites secured a 2-1 win over Huesca away in their previous league encounter which was played on February 6.
The win saw Madrid return to winning ways after Levante ended their nine-match unbeaten run in this competition having recorded two draws and seven wins.
The defeat to Levante also ended Madrid’s four-match unbeaten run home matches in La Liga having registered four consecutive victories.
Zinedine Zidane, the Madrid manager, stressed the importance of their win over Huesca and he lauded his charges for showing character.
“It was a really important win for us because we’ve been struggling a bit recently,” Zidane said.
“We showed a lot of character and it was a big win for us that helps us to move in the right direction. We have to be patient and we should be pleased with our performance.
“It was important to get the win and we have to keep improving and get back to our best football, which we all want to see at Real Madrid.”
Meanwhile, Valencia were held to a 1-1 draw by Athletic Bilbao away in their previous league game which was played on February 7.
The Bats are now unbeaten in their last two matches in this competition having registered one win and one draw.
Valencia are winless in their last two matches on the road in La Liga having recorded one draw and one defeat.
The last league meeting between Madrid and Valencia was on 8 November 2020.
Valencia ran out 4-1 winners over Madrid in a match which took place at the Estadio de Mestalla.
