In order to grow the country, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that the administration is focusing on increasing internal income mobilization and deepening the digital footprint.
On Wednesday, March 2, Dr. Bawumia spoke at the National Labour Conference in Kwahu.
- While Akufo-Addo is on a 10-day working trip to France, Guyana, Belgium, Germany, and the United Kingdom, Bawumia assumes the presidency.

“We will continue to focus on improving public sector efficiency, reducing public expenditure, increasing internal revenue mobilization, expanding the country’s digital footprint, and promoting private sector growth,” he stated.
Dr. Bawumia also asked the National Labour Commission to digitize its operations so that labor unions can submit complaints online and receive timely responses.
