From their upcoming joint project “Old Church Basement”, Elevation Worship, and Maverick City Music, two of the great gospel music collectives have debuted a new single titled “Talking To Jesus”.
This new single “Talking To Jesus” comes right after a very successful single “Jireh” that is currently making a big impact globally. The song which features Brandon Lake as a lead vocalist and co-writer of the beautiful story-telling song is available for streaming and download on all online music platforms.
The Other co-writers of “Talking To Jesus” are Pastor Steven Furtick and Chris Brown. The new song simply takes the listener on a journey from the first-person perspective of Pastor Furtick recounting when he learned how to pray as a teenager.
“In a world that constantly reinforces that we have to do certain things to gain access or status, we have instant access with our Heavenly Father who is so passionately in love with us and wants to talk to us at all times,” says Lake.
