WhatsApp intends to discontinue support for iOS 10 and 11. A new notification discovered by WABetaInfo advises iPhone users to update to the most recent version of Apple’s mobile operating system supported by their device in order to continue using the app after October 24th. According to a WhatsApp support article, the company recommends iOS 12 as a starting point for iPhone users. If you still have an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6s, you can continue to use WhatsApp, but iPhone 5 and 5c owners will need to consider upgrading to a new device.
