Sycamore Tree Foundation donates to Royal Seed Orphanage at Papase No.2

The Sycamore Tree Foundation a Non-governmental Organization (NGO), has donated some assorted items to Royal Seed Orphanage at Papase No. 2, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality.

The items donated included, second-hand clothing, stationery, food items, cosmetics, some medical consumables, and toiletries.

The Foundation was founded in 2019 by Patience Okpati Amba, Priscilla Ekua Praba Fynn, and Sandra Adu-Gyamfi.

While the orphanage was also founded in 1997 by Madam Naomi Amoah with four children but now has over 200 children between the ages of two months and 17 years and among them are two abandoned two-months babies.

Mrs Okpati Amba and Praba Fynn who made the presentation at a ceremony at the orphanage announced that the gesture formed part of its second anniversary.

“We thank the Lord for bringing us this far and also express appreciation to friends and loved ones for their support all this while to give back to the society”, they stated.

Madam Amoah, Chief Executive Officer of the orphanage who received the items, thanked the foundation for the support and assured that it would serve a good purpose.

She also appealed to philanthropists and benevolent organizations for support to expand their infrastructure as their numbers kept growing.
